Why you need to change your UV Light Bulbs every Year?
The bulbs still light up after one year…correct? YES!
Why change the Bulb if they are working?
To begin with, why did you buy a UV Light? For it to do lots of work for you! UV Light is to do work for you by destroying organisms, reduce mold growth, etc…obviously to have a lot more “Healthy Air” for you and your family!
Guess what…if a UV Light bulb still lights up does NOT mean that you have enough energy output to destroy the organism. As time goes on the all UV light bulbs energy output goes down.
1. Remember, energy output is what destroys the organisms.
2. All UV light bulbs have an energy output decline. After one year you must change the bulb for it to do work with enough energy to destroy mold growth etc.
If you have not changed the bulb within one year…just turn the UV Light off. It is not doing your family much good with Healthy Air. YOU would be wasting energy. Did your air conditioning contractor tell you this fact?
